题目：Mechanism Design and Relative Network Intervention with Social Norm

摘要：

We study revenue-maximizing mechanism design in networked markets where buyers face a social-norm externality that penalizes local deviations and differ in their degrees of conformity. The seller is uninformed about buyers’ conformity types and chooses among mechanisms with varying informational requirements, including a message-free simple mechanism, a bilateral nonlinear pricing mechanism, and a fully multilateral mechanism. We characterize optimal allocations and revenues across these environments and show how network structure shapes distortions from both information asymmetry and contractual simplification. Finally, we study a relative network intervention problem in which the seller intervenes on buyers’ status-quo taste profile subject to a budget constraint to improve the performance of simple mechanisms. We derive efficiency bounds and tractable budget thresholds under which the simple mechanism (approximately) dominates more complex mechanisms across several network families.

郑捷是山东大学经济研究院教授，山东大学特聘教授，济南市“海右计划”哲学社会科学领域中青年学术骨干，山东省“泰山学者计划”特聘专家,教育部长江学者奖励计划青年学者，山东大学理论与实验经济学研究中心（CREATE）主任，清华大学互联网产业研究院产业学者，清华大学经济科学与政策实验室（ESPEL）创建人之一。研究领域包括信息经济学、实验经济学、行为经济学、产业经济学，研究主题涵盖机制设计、市场设计、信息设计等经典问题和合作协调、信任互惠、参照依赖等行为问题。研究工作发表于《经济研究》、《管理科学学报》、《经济学》季刊、American Economic Review (Papers and Proceedings)、Games and Economic Behavior、Management Science、Nature Communications等国内外知名期刊。现任国际学术期刊Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization副主编、Research in Economics副主编、Humanities and Social Sciences Communications编委、Behavioral Sciences编委、《消费经济》编委，并担任Economic Modelling、Behavioral Sciences等多份SSCI/SCI期刊客座主编。
