题目：Welfare and Emission Effects of New Infrastructure: Evidence from China’s Ultra-High Voltage Electricity Transmission Project

摘要：

The lack of reliable electricity in the developing world is widely regarded by policymakers as a major constraint on the economy. One of the biggest challenges for ensuring a reliable electricity supply and achieving energy transition lies in the transmission grids. China initiated the construction of the world's highest-capacity inter-regional electricity transmission project in the past few years. Through regression analysis, we find that this project has significantly increased the inter-regional electricity transmissions. Subsequently, we construct a quantitative spatial model to study the welfare implications as well as the CO2 mitigation effect of China's inter-regional electricity transmission project.

段玉婉，中央财经大学国际经济与贸易学院副院长，国家级青年人才项目入选者，国家社科重大项目首席专家；教授，博士生导师，担任人大复印资料中心“两委会”编委。在Journal of Public Economics、Nature Climate Change、Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization、《经济研究》《管理世界》《世界经济》等学术期刊发表论文30多篇。主持国家自然科学基金项目、国家社会科学基金项目、北京市社会科学基金重点项目、北京市优秀人才培养资助青年骨干个人项目等；多项研究报告获国家领导人批示，或被国家部委采纳；获得中国科学院科技促进发展奖科技贡献二等奖、浦山世界经济学优秀论文奖、安子介国际贸易研究奖、洪银兴经济学奖、国际投入产出学会Sir Richard Stone Prize等奖项。
